Was genau ist eigentlich Ko.Sy?

Ko.Sy – Association for the non-commercial allocation of resources for
collective and emancipatory utilization

What is Ko.Sy exactly?

Along the lines of “I prefer using to owning,” one of Ko.Sy’s greatest
concerns is making land, places, knowledge, support, things, etc.
available for use. If, for example, land can no longer sustainably be
farmed, be it because those who have thus far worked the land no longer
have the energy, be it because economic restraints have made it
impossible, Ko.Sy is an alternative to selling land on the private
market. Land that comes to Ko.Sy is made available to those who want to
cultivate and revitalize it. Ko.Sy offers structural and content-related
support in the process (legal situation, mediation, group processes,
agricultural utilization, …). If the users reach a point where a
disbanding of the group appears sensible, the land will not be sold on
the private market, but will be made available to new users. With this
concept, Ko.Sy supports the development of gametes, in which, contrary
to common practices, the land and those who farm the land are not
exploited. This encourages cooperation’s based on solidarity and creates
a space for experimenting with non-commercial forms of economy. This in
turn contributes to a transformation of society as a whole.
